I was wondering if there is anything like the "freegeek" groups they have in America. From what I have heard freegeek takes old computers cleans them up checks what is working & replaces parts if necessary. Then they install linux on them and give them to people who need a computer but cannot afford one. I believe they also offer training to those who receive the computers.
