Well I have looked at Leader and Cell-Tech but neither has this model
available. Maybe others have had some good news?

working in London. Told him about this laptop. His biggest complaint
was, "a bit expensive for a internet machine.  Support would be a
nightmare.. custom OS".
Yes, a Windows IT guy, how did you guess that ;)

BTW, on the ASUS site they have been very upfront about compliance
with the GNU and availability of the Source Code. You don't have to
ask, they provide links in several places as well as in the FAQs. I
have not checked if it is all the source code but at least they are
very open about it being available, that's a good start.
