Eee PC Notebook

Hi All:
What I was hoping for with the Asus Eee PC Notebook was to try and find a
wholesale supplier, so that I could resell the product as part of my
home-based ICT business, along with the other products that I can get hold
of through suppliers. From what I have heard it would appear that I would
be out of luck - the notebook is only available directly through Asus, but
from second-hand information sources it would appear that I would have to
purchase several thousand of them. This makes it extremely difficult for
those of us who only need very small numbers of these types of units.
Normally with a wholesale supplier you can purchase items per each,
therefore eliminating the need for having to carry extra stock that can be
difficult to move. The Eee PC notebook however may be a slight exception
from the norm.

Its worth the effort to try to find a supplier, as I could then arrannge to
get a slightly larger number of them and divvy them up amongst ourselves.

Does anyone know if these Eee PC notebooks can be purchased through a
wholesaler?? If so from whom??

Cheers:
Grant Petch :)

I really like this little guy, could be very useful for meetings
training presentations etc.
Hey, could even use it for updating Santa's list while the young
person is present LOL

Saw this listed on eBay, would this be a good price or would it be a
better suggestion to buy it locally and then upgrade the components?

And if MYER have tied up the National Retail Distribution, who would
be the Educational Distributor?

Ponder this:
"...man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins
because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on
- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water
having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed
that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same
reasons." -- (Douglas Adams, HHGTTG)
