I was looking at Hercules some time ago, to see how it would be to
migrate some apps from z/OS. Never got anywhere though :)

At the risk of taking this off-topic, did he become an accountant
because he was that way, or did he get that way because he was an
accountant?   ;-)

Sorta paraphrasing the old Tom Lehrer line about "those of you who know
mathematicians often wonder how they became that way".

Oh, well, I'm planning to install Hercules (mainframe emulator) on my
machine and then install Debian s/390 under it and SLES/390 as well
(since IBM won't give me a free version of VM or VSE).  :-(
