Spamassassin Correct ?

I think your gripe is fair enough.
When I set up SA, th users had the choice to enable/ disable spam filtering.
I had a folder called Junk, which people could access if they wanted to.
Anything that went in there was available via IMAP or webmail which people
could look at to see the spam they had recieved. After three weeks, the spam
was deleted. Every week the user got a digest of the spam that was in their
folder along with instructions on how to get it out and what was due to be
deleted. They also had the option of adjusting _their_ settings for how
aggressive the spam filter was.
Support was relatively painless. Those who complained verbally were basically
told that short of them running a mail server for their domain OR charging
them more / month so that we could keep the email longer / do advanced
filtering, that we couldn't do anything.
The thought of having to pay more shocked those who did complain into
realising how foolish they were not to have read their email in the first
place:)
