I use yum with whitebox at home (whitebox/centos being similar to rhel). 
   Don't use gui though.

RHEL5 will have gui AFAIK with ability for integration with yum 
repositories.  So centos should get that eventually also.  I remember 
running the command "pup" on rhel5 beta1.  Also there is a package on 
fc5 called yumex.  But as I said I don't do gui much for things like 
that so haven't used that much.
