Actually they are just cheaper systems full stop. Slow CPUs, thin
cases, noisy fans, that sort of thing. The computer to buy when you
want to spend as little as possible. They aren't really in the same
market as the standard Windows machine. Which might well be why Lindows
are still in business. I wouldn't call them successful until I've seen
a customer satisfaction survey -- I suspect a lot of those systems never
get used twice.
