Extend it to a list of dealers that actually sell computers without doze and
that would be *really* useful. I tried in vain to buy a laptop without
Windows - most retailers look at you as if you are crazy or a pirate. For
desktops I can easily build my own, but not laptops. I know you can order
them from overseas, but I prefer to buy locally in case something goes wrong.
Almost a year ago I spoke to Dell about getting a system without windows -
they will do a limited range. Some of their servers and (from memory) some of
the Dimension line. Took a few emails to find that out.
