FC6 Im impressed

Well after a forced reinstall (my FC5 system went belly up) after being 
possibly cracked, I did an install of FC6, I must say that I didn't 
expect much of an upgrade but there seems to be a lot of improvements in 
smoothness and responsiveness.

Then I tried the eye candy, thinking that wobbly windows was a bit of a 
gimmick I was suspicious but there are some other things that proved 
useful, like the expose style window management. Being able to flick the 
mouse into the top RHS of the screen to lay out the windows is very 
handy, <crtl>+<alt>+<down> to reveal what is on all your other desktops 
is also very useful as well as a very graphic <alt>+<tab>.

What Impressed me the most is that it didn't slow my system down at all 
as I believe that all the 3D work is done in hardware

I showed it to some of my Win User holdouts and they were very 
impressed. Whilst eye candy isn't every ones cup of tea this may be a 
strong draw card for any one that may be looking for an alternative.
