We have an Ericson setup at work.  The phones are all cordless and have their 
own unique number and are controlled by a couple of base stations in the 
building.  I like them- they have a LCD and built in phone book, etc.  I 
haven't seen any trouble with dropouts and the like.  The range is quite good 
- - some people can be out in the carpark (a fair distance) talking on their 
phone.
