ADSL Shaper
Hi,
This is my work-in-progress ADSL shaper. It's basically the wondershaper
but with iptables for marking. I run it under RH 8.0 quite happily.
This works for me - it's not 100% ideal, it doesn't do some stuff (I do this
with Cisco routers professionally for large (2000+ handset) voice installs -
plug plug plug) that I can do with routers but hey - I like it. There's
more you _can_ do but I don't need it personally.
http://mmc.com.au/pub/adslshape
should be relatively self explanatory.
It's main limitation is that it doesn't shape the incoming stuff - there's
arguments for/against it. I don't.
Any questions to the list as I'm fairly busy at the moment and others can
learn.
