well i use apt-get and dselect on a daily basis.
so this may we be the reason, as i have used it since
debian 1.3.x IIRR. so, it may well be just a 
familiarity thing.

ok, i may have to spend a bit more time with aptitude.
it just seemed more complicated that it needed to be
for package dependencies. inspecting package dependencies
in a tree format is cute, feels cumbersome. 

what the hell, i'll go have another play and see =)
