I have an MGE Eclipse, which is a big thing. I have tried a few times to
set up nut to work with it, but have failed. However, MGE do sponsor the
development of nut, and say it should all work, so I'm pretty sure I
haven't spent enough time on it :)

It certainly does shutdown from electrical problems, though I doubt
thermal -- why not use the servers' own monitoring (lmsensors) for that?
