ComputerBank Australia (SA) has a policy of not supporting Windows or
installing Windows on the machines. If the end users purchase a copy of
Windows and install it on their machine--or somehow get a copy of
Windows--ComputerBank Australia (SA) cease to support the installed
software.
We do NOT encourage people to install illicit software; in fact we
believe that Linux is mature enough to be used as a desktop operating
system and we install Linux to avoid encouraging people to use illegal
software.
On the other hand, the ACS special interest group is working with
Microsoft (through lawyers) to gain licences for Windows 95.
