I've gone toe to toe with a number of prominent Computer Suppliers over a
similar issue, supplying a PC without an OS.   "We cannot supply a PC
without and OS, its illegal" or "supplying a PC without an OS promotes
piracy", comments like these sh*t me to tears.   I usually at that point
give them a set of RH 8.0 disks and tell them to install that, its a
legitimate OS.   When they comment that they can't my response is "since
when is that *my* problem", things to easier at that point and I get my PC
with no OS >:)
