It matters not what distro you choose.
The package you need is Roaring Penguin's rp-pppoe client.

Get it here, along with it's instructions ->

In fact, the 'adsl-setup' tool of which Alex speaks of is actually
rp-pppoe & has nothing to do with Redhat :)

But I'm not about to get into a 'this distro is better than that one'
debate.
