It's funny you should mention that actually, there's one case where
a keyboard caused me all sorts of hassles with one OS. The mitsubishi
entry level keyboard makes FreeBSD 4.x unhappy. the daemon probes the
keyboard, and wham, the whole lot stops responding, I spent a while
scratching my head about it before I found someone else had the same
problem.

My point being that you can't always assume a fairly universal piece
of hardware is going to work with all O/S's, it's worth asking
-just in case-. And buying another LCD is a mite more expensive than
another keyboard.
