I know this may sound pretty rash, but have tried removing all the
databases, all the priviliges, running pkg_delete or rm or whatever you
need to do to remove MRBS, and then reinstalled it on a clean pallette?
I mean, it's not like there's any info in the database you're going to
lose :)

I remember I had some issues with MRBS at first too.  I don't remember
what they were now, but they were simply because I had missed something
in the beginning because I didn't read all my instructions :-)

I just blew it away, followed the install/config through again from the
start and it all worked like a charm!
