Ok, this is the error i am getting:

"Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'sqlserver' (111) in
/var/www/html/php/web/mysql.inc on line 204"

Is this indicating that 111 is the port it is trying to use? Because it's
wrong. Or is it the error number?

As for your question about versions, i will check that.
