David,

I have found that mysql is working. Running on port 3306. I have tested this
by connecting to it using "#mysql" and then using "\r mrbs" and then
"status" to see the following:

Connection id:          2
Current database:       mrbs
Current user:           root@localhost
Current pager:          stdout
Using outfile:          ''
Server version:         3.23.52
Protocol version:       10
Connection:             Localhost via UNIX socket
Client characterset:    latin1
Server characterset:    latin1
UNIX socket:            /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
Uptime:                 1 min 11 sec

...This makes me think that the problem is somewhere else. Anyone had this
problem?
