BUGA

I was just attempting to subscribe to the BUGA mailing list, but I'm
having trouble subscribing.

According to my web searches, is this http://www.knfpub.com/safug/ the
correct home page?

When I attempt to subscribe to 'majordomo@beldin.net' I get a bounce,
which reads:

250-.beldin.nu Postal Service Hello sageautomation.com; ESMTPs are:
 250-TIME
 250-AUTH=LOGIN
 250-AUTH CRAM-MD5 LOGIN
 250 HELP
 MAIL From:<adam.smith@sageautomation.com>
250 Sender OK - send RCPTs.
 RCPT To:<majordomo@beldin.net>
553 We do not relay without RFC2554 authentication.
 QUIT

What exactly does this mean? I had a look at RFC2554 and it is talking
about the 'AUTH' command. Does this mean that the server expects me to
authenticate using AUTH before it will allow me to post mail to it?
(something which I obviously can not do because I am not a user of this
server.)

I'm not sure of exactly what I'm looking at.
