Hi I am after some help with my Optus cable internet connection. I was
connected to Optus last year but I had to move to a different area in this
area there wasn't any Optus cable so I didn't bother to connect up as I
wasn't going to stay here to long.

I have now moved to an area that has Optus I rang Optus and had them come
out and install cable internet once done and the technician left I tried
connecting up my Linux box as I wasn't successful I looked on the web for
some clues. I found that Optus no longer require a host name eg:co2345676-A
and works with DHCP I tried finding some documentation on this but was
unsuccessful and I am wondering if you can please help me as to what I need
to change in the configuration so I can run Linux again.

Kind Regards

Chris Dedes
