Hi There,
Why not try one of the RPM repositories and install GCC
and Make that way. They come in a binary and source format.
If you are worried about security, download them and compile
what you need, and then remove them again afterwards. Do a
search for Linux and RPM on your favourite search engine
should do the trick. Hope this helps.
