Thanks for trying to be helpful, Andrew, however I think we've already
verified that Microsoft Outlook 97 has no permanent setting to disable
HTML ("rich text") mail.  Your instructions might work in Outlook 98
or Outlook 2000, tho.

If anybody can't figure out how to turn off HTML mail in their
respective mail client, here's the first few links Google found:
