I know how you feel!!! They all do it, I have two nephews who are 2 years
old this month, and they love messing up everything possible on the
computer, especially throwing the wireless mouse across the room when they
get frustrated. With two of them, it simply is not possible for my brother
in-law or myself to use any computer in their house while the boys are
awake, they terrorise us and winge and grizzle because they want to bash the
keyboard and throw the mouse. And they know which ones are the real ones
that do something, we tried giving them old crappy ones which werent
connected and dont do anything... nope they wont have a bar of it, they want
the real ones... cunning little buggers!
John, fear not, you are not alone... maybe use an NTP client which updates
every 10-15 minutes or something. The other thing I find good is locking the
computer while I am away from it, ie. windows 2000 or NT CTRL-ALT-DEL and
lock workstation, stops them from doing too much.
Regards,
Michael
