Howdy there,

I have had this problem once or twice. I think what is actually happening is that
your system is receiving datagrams at a rate that is too fast to be processed.
It looks like your system has run out of buffer space and is throwing datagrams away.

If you run something like tcpdump you may find "source quench" errors.

Solution:
