[OT] Partition Images

I was going to just randomly post and ask if anyone knew of any linux based
equivalents to Symantec Ghost as I wanted to take an image of my laptop
before messing with it (and doing ugly ugly ugly things like installing
WinXP).

Anyway I thought better of it and went on a search and found:

"Partition Image for Linux" http://www.partimage.org/

Which supports most O/S AND supports network images and multiple clients
simultaneously. Doesn't support Multicast nor some of the more advanced
features, but looks good enough to backup and restore a whole image.

I thought this might be kind of handy for people and it's free AND better
yet uses a linux kernel to run from rather than evil DOS network drivers
that die if you have a fast enough network (don't ask and don't make me go
there it makes me feel sick thinking about that whole incident).

Anyway .. no questions.
