Alfred mailing list, LinuxEDU mailing list
Two things I'd like to cover briefly -- a new Alfred mailing list I've
just setup, and the LinuxEDU mailing list that's been in some form of
existance for a while.
Here's the interesting bits from a message I sent to a few other
individuals that are interested in Alfred stuff:
e-mail message to majordomo@plug.cx with "subscribe alfred" in the
body of the message. Of course, it goes without saying that the
quotes don't get put into the subscription request.
The purpose of the list is to provide support to those that are
trying to setup and work with Alfred, as well as providing a
developer forum for those that are interested in the growth and
enhancement of Alfred.
Now, LinuxEDU. I received an e-mail message the other day from someone
asking what the state of the LinuxEDU list was. Well, basically, it's in
existance, I'm still keen on working along with it, I've just not had
time. It's not been helped by the fact that I've had too build a new
mail server after mine said "Secondary Master hard disk fail".
Currently, my new mail server doesn't have the list setup on it. I'll
restore the list along with the subscribers once I can find a SCSI card
that'll work with the DAT drive that was in the old mail server :-)
Hrm. So there! Now you know. May the force be with you, and goodnight.
