KPilot for mdk8.0

Hello all,

I am using mdk 8.0 and have a palm pilot. using kpilot from the mdk install,
i am having trouble getting things talking. i get the following error:

---
cannot start kpilot deamon. check settings and restart kpilot manually.

cannot open port /dev/pilot check pilot path and permissions.
---

I have made a link as: "ln \dev\ttys0 \dev\pilot" (or somthing to that
effect) as a howto suggested and pointed the kpilot software to that
location. i have tried several combinations to get things talking but
nothing goes.

has anyone had this issue?

Thanks,

Andrew Galdes
