Re: encrypted DVD's
Yeah, I used xine with the d4d plugin, and it worked (although slow).
How are people going for speed though? With xine I can play back div-x
without dropping frames, but I drop too many for dvds. This is on a
celeron 600 with tnt2 (nvidia drivers), xfree 4.1.0 and 24bit colour. If
I reduced the colour depth to 16 bit, and set up one of those non
cacheing devices for the dvd I could _just_ make it. Any one got any
other performace tips?
Interestingly enough, on the same machine, I can play dvds but not div-x
under windows. :(
