new hardware (success story)

a success story,
 
Gone are the days i say linux isnt ready. on the weekend i upgraded my
motherboard and cpu. i duel boot with winME (for games only!) and mdk 8.1.
after adding the new hardware i booted windows first and spent the next two
hours trying to rescue the system and then having to reinstall windows. took
a break and booted to linux... xwindows presented me with a logon prompt...
i didnt even get told of the new hardware. thats a REAL operating system!
