RE: Wingate client

This kind of setup would only allow you to use the web (configuring the NT
server as the proxy server in netscape) or possibly in some ftp clients the
proxy server in them.

This isnt the most ideal way to set up internet connection sharing. The most
ideal way is to get NT to route the internet connection to the linux box,
and configure the linux box to use the NT server as its default gateway.
This would allow you to share all/any kind of information, e.g chat, web,
ftp, mail, As the linux box would act as if it has a direct connection to
the net.

I dont know if NT has a built in route package or something like internet
connection sharing in 2k, but you could always use a program called winroute
to do this!

AW.
