I'm sure I read recently where HP support Ultrium under Linux.  I'll
ask my local HP Tech officer next time I see him.

That 200GB is "compressed" - the amount of compression varies with
the type of data you're trying to compress (as is the nature of the
beast).

I'm playing with a 700 tape robot (StorageTek) at the moment, but
that might be overkill for your needs.  :-)
