smbmount
Hello all,
Just a quicky (after some examples)
i ahev two machines, one running win2kpro and the otehr mdk8.0 samba. i am
having trouble getting the linux machine to browse the shares of the 2k
machine. suspect the problem is on the 2k side. however, i am using the
following:
where 192.168.0.2 = win2k and 192.168.0.1 = samba machine:
"smbclient -L //192.168.0.2"
that lists the sahres on it.
"smbmount //192.168.0.2 /mnt/win2k_mount_point" or somthing like that.
i can also use kdes konqueror to brose, this is ok but it doesnt guve me the
ability to modify the contents of the 2k share.????
i want to be able to modify the contents of the 2k share from the linux
machine. whats the best way to get thsi done? (without removing teh 2k
machine :)
Thanks,
Andrew Galdes
