Aren't Microsoft not legally allowed to transmit data like that across the
Internet? If they do, what port does it use?
I really find that kind of stuff outrageous. Even with a legitimate copy of
XP it is no excuse -- perhaps we should start billing Microsoft for
bandwidth costs -- although I know that this has been brought up before, and
will be again :-)
