A big clean out ...
Hi,
Following up on the email I sent about the surplus gear I have, here is
what I plan to do.
I will be at the next LinuxSA meeting (next Tuesday) with all the bits
and pieces I have.
I have promosed the PDP 8/e to a deserving institution and the DECsystem
5000/240 will probably going to Tellurian to put into the Samba build farm.
However, I have the following bits and pieces:
1. A 300 MHz Cyrix or something with 128MB and 4GB and three ethernet
cards (one on-board and two ISA cards). The system has PCI and ISA
slots. Keyboard but maybe no monitor. This item I would like about $200 for.
2. An assortment of PCI and ISA 10Mb/s ethernet cards, some really old,
but good.
3. A few VGA cards of various vintages/
4. A 33.6 modem
5. An assortment of cables, both power, thin-wire, etc.
6. A power supply for the hobbyist who wants to see how much current
ETSA can deliver
7. An assortment of Electrolytics (none anywhere near 1F. Values like
5400uF up to about 10000uF).
Items from 2 through 7 I would like $1 to $5 for, depending on the item,
but the power cords etc will be 20 cents each.
Other stuff.
