Adding multiple IPs to one NIC
I wonder if anyone can help me here.
I type
# ip address add xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx dev eth1
and get the following :
Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol
I am reasonably confident this is due to my current kernel ( I have
forgotten to include somethig in the complile ), does anyone know which
option it is that I have missed?
Thanks.
