Good news maybe ?? IT Minister

And you though the discussion on Politics was over

AUSTRALIA will almost certainly have a new IT minister following John
Howard's election victory. Sources close to the government have confirmed
Senator Richard Alston is reluctant to continue as Communications and IT
minister, leaving the way open for a new face. As well as setting policy at
a critical time for the industry, the powerful portfolio covers the future
of Telstra, cross media ownership, digital television and datacasting.
