Our Client is a privately well financed start up operation in the gaming
industry.
A small team of young, enthusiastic and intelligent developers have almost
completed the software development in Sydney. The team are looking for
several Linux administrators with MYSQL and Personal Home Page software .
The project team will be moving to the Channel Islands (France/England in
several months. We need an administrator of an ISP which will house an
online bank and a gambling site. The whole operation will be based in
Alderney in the Channel isles.
There is a great deal of responsibility associated with this role but on the
other hand we are quite prepared to offer the appropriate remuneration. We
need someone who has extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux, MySQL and PHP.
Some experience in Internet banking systems would be considered a great
advantage. Security is of paramount importance so the individual concerned
must also have knowledge of security system in Linux ie. firewalls, intruder
detection, encryption etc.
The applicant may consider this to be a permanent position. He will be based
in Europe for the duration.
