RE: Nvidia on Mandrake 8.1

I didn't follow any instructions from the website you mentioned, instead I
downloaded the drivers and instructions from Nvidia's website. I got the
source RPMs, since they didn't have Mandrake 8.1 RPMS when I last looked.

Have you installed nvidia's glx rpm? Have you tried following Nvidia's
instructions?
