Laptop battery problem
Hi all,
To start with, this looked like a hardware problem, but it only started
happening (and it was quite sudden) when I installed Mandrake 8.0.
If I leave the battery of my laptop (Toshiba 1550CDS) in when I shut it
down, it drains around about as quickly as if I left the laptop switched
on. I know that the laptop hasn't been put into suspend mode, because all
of the pretty light turn off (one of them flashes when the laptop has been
suspended).
Has anyone heard of a similar problem? All is well if I pull the
battery out, but who the hell wants to do that all the time :-).
Thx,
Matt
P.S. I do have the toshiba laptop support option turned on in the stock
mdk-8.0 kernel.
