I picked up a couple of Compaq Proliant servers at an Auction once (with
2 2GB SCSI HDDs each :-) and I've been most impressed with them. All
apart from the fact it uses wierd, non-standard "Compaq" EDO RAM which
costs double the price of generic RAM :-(
The time it takes to get support out of Compaq is often long. It seems
to depend on who you are and how much they care about you.
