Samba - and windows 2000
hi all
firstly, this is the situation:
1. samba is not a PDC - its the master browser tho
2. two win2k boxes are on the network
3. both win2k boxes are using same workgroup
4. each computer has seperate account
5. win2k box/s maps network share as Z:
problem:
I can't access the network share on the samba server if the other win2k box
has got access. Example. win2k box 1 has got access. win2k box two gets an
error and cannot even see the samba server, but can search for other
computer names (win98 boxes) and see them. And vica versa.
I dont understand why this would be happening when each win2k box has a
seperate username and password on the samba server.
Any Ideas?
Adam W.
