linux router/nmb browser config with IPX
Hello,
I have a situation where I want to use a linux box to route between two
networks.
1 is an NT network with a WINS server (and several other servers and
workstations) which I do not want to have to touch if at all possible.
The other is a small network with about 8 PCs which need to access both
a Netware 4 server that is local to the network as well as the main NT
domain.
I can get the network to know the netbios name resolution but the PCs
coming up on the Netware side are not able to see the servers in their
list. We don't really want it to go the other way although it is not
critical.
I have put the subnet of the netware network in the remote announce but
that has not helped.
I know that the docco says to only have one protocol running but that
is not an option for this senerio. Does anyone have any suggestions?
regards,
