Agreed on all counts.  Maybe the Kylixes of this world may change some
of this, but it won't happen overnight.

Have u used Konqueror (kde default) lately?  I dont use anything else
at home, at work i use MSIE, and admittedly it is a better browser, but
to be honest, the only sites i've had trouble with using Konqueror are
the shockwave-enabled ones, which dont make up a whole lot of my browsing
habits.  Apart from those, its excellent, and the rendering is spot on.
