The only thing wrong
Hey gang,
The past two days has seen me promote Linux to several people, but im lost
when they ask me if i can play games on my machine (form linux - not
windows). Games like quake and unreal, not chess. Some of my screen savers
(with GL) dont work also.
So there is a problem with my setup, OpenGL not configured/installed/working
and i have had this problem with all installes of linux, caldera, mandrake
and red hat. there is somthing i am doing wrong. what is it? help me so i
can get rid of that MS partition.
system details:
gforce2mx
256mb ram
20gb hard disk
mandrake 8.0 (custom install) - perhaps i should install the whole CD (1 and
2)
i guess if there is the linux equiv to directX, ie a bunch of DLLs needed
for games...
Thanks,
Andrew Galdes
