[OT] : Connection Speeds question
Hi,
When an ISP lists 256kbps for ADSL connection speed, does it mean 256
Kilobits per sec or does it mean 256 kilobytes per second?
Because all ISP's rate modems at 33.6 Kbps, but this is only equivelent to
about 3.3 Kilobytes per second!
does this mean ADSL is only 25 Kilobytes per second??
hmmm i think i'll stick with my cable then! :)
