WatchGuard firewall runs linux?

There's this article:

http://www.computerworld.com/storyba/0,4125,NAV47_STO61758,00.html?OpenDocument&~f

at computer world about the WatchGuard firewall-in-a-box being
number 1 on the market.

An old e-mail by Matthew Tippett to linuxsa on
Wed Dec 10 00:19:10 1997
says that....

-----------------------------------------------
For those of you who read the Tuesday Australian, there
was an article about how hackers are targetting various
ISPs.

According to the article the ISP mentioned installed
a WatchGuard FireBox. This is actually a turnkey Linux
Firewall solution.
-----------------------------------------------

This February 2000 press release seems to confirm this:
http://www.watchguard.com/press/wg93.asp

I think it's interesting that linux is doing well
out there in the money-making market.
US$60m/year sounds pretty good to me.

Is this by any chance related to the company that
Rusty did some work for in the area of a firewall-in-a-box?
Just curious...

Cheers,
Alan Kennington.

PS. I just heard on the radio some guy from Seattle with a
very annoying accent saying that "the court said very clearly
that we did not try to monopolise the browser market".
Am I in an alternative universe today or something?
If so, I want to go back... now!
