You could also check that its the correct Certificate
for your platform, ie if you get a 128b certificate it may
not run in older versions of your web server or servers
that require 56b keys. (ie IBMs WebSphere 3.02
doesn't support 128b keys although the Apache
version it runs on does, ouch! that one bit me!). You
won't be able to change the date on the certificate as that
would defeat the whole idea.

Also make sure that you have your signing request
that you sent to the the signing authority. This is
then used to produce your private key.
