Tee hee, I'm an MCP in Win95 of all things :o)
But I've since counteracted the brain damage that course did by
doing the Hands On Linux run by our venerable Richard Sharpe.....
The only worthwhile MCSE module I did was the TCP/IP one,
instructor spent all his time telling us about the real world
scenario as opposed to the one MS wanted us to believe :o)
As with Andrew, I'm fairly familiar with MS environments, as
I support NT/2000, I dont tend to support our Samba servers cause
they run themselves................
BTW, is there any truth in W2K SP2 breaking connectivity to Samba
servers, from what I've heard briefly its only W2k machines logging
into a Samba "PDC", just wondering if anyone knew any details (Richard?)
(My laptop has W2K SP2, but we're not logging into Samba as a PDC,
it still authenticates off NT4 & maps drives to a Samba box, its
working fine)
